Danny Martinez, 26, a Latino man, was shot in the 2000 block of East 73rd Street in Florence about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 25. Martinez was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
According to the L.A. County Sheriff Department, Martinez was talking to a woman in a car port of an apartment complex when a hooded suspect approached and shot him.
Danny was his name,he was my cousin's son...hey Prima were very sorry about your son Danny that was cold blooded what happened to him... All the Vitela Family send our Condolence 's .... R.I.P. 'Danny'

I had a friend in a Calif. prison by the name of Danny Martinez, he was released a couple years ago and we lost touch as we moved, could someone please tell me if this is the same Danny that was shot.........we were friends for 3-4 years and he was a great friend. Thanks Gayle

He was my good buddy, friend, like a brother type as I grew to know him, not only did he not deserve what happenned 2 him, he had a chance 2 change & suceed; But unfortunantly overall he left 2 young daughters behind, but his memory will remain in my heart as I knew him to be humble w/ a great heart despite what we all have gone thrue....Love u Dog & may u rest in peace Danny Boyy.....
