Roberto Romero, 27

Roberto Romero, 27, a Latino man and his brother, Manuel Romero, 36, also Latino, were shot and killed at 532 W. 74th St. in South-Central L.A. about 9:45 p.m. Authorities said Manuel was pronounced dead at the scene. Roberto was taken to California Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

According to Det. Carlos Velasquez of LAPD's 77th Street Division, the two men and the suspect were standing near Manuel's van. The suspect  pulled out a handgun and fired several shots at the two men. Velasquez described the suspect as a black man with shoulder-length cornrows or braids. He was seen driving from the scene in a silver or beige SUV, Velasquez said. Anyone with information about the incident can call (213) 485-1659

i think this is so stupid for black an mexican to go against each other im mean what is it going to accomplish we are the same people dont u know if black an brown come together we will rule america i mean look at it we are people of color we have been through the same stuff that what some but not all whites want us to do you know its racial fights u know its racial fights i know its racial fights i grew up in compton my dad was mexican an mother is black pops was shot by a black teen, the same black teen i grew up with, played with slept with. this person have eatten my dads food an also played and joke with him but he gets in a crip gang an shoots him right n the eye an me in the chest twice.All im asking is to come together im just 16 years old an sufferd from this i dont want nobody else to.LETS CHANGE THE WORLD
