Andrew Lopez Jr., 16

Andrew Lopez Jr., 16, a Latino youth, was stabbed in the chest in the 41000 block of 22nd Street West in Palmdale about 11 p.m. Friday, May 9. Lopez was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:35 p.m.

Authorities said Lopez was stabbed after an argument between two groups of men at a house party. The men were uninvited, authorities said. The suspects were described as white and were last seen driving a white pickup truck southbound on 22nd Street, authorities said.  Two other men were also stabbed and were taken by ambulance to a hospital, where they were recovering.

i personally knew andrew and i cant see how someone could do this to someone.... especially someone as sweet as drew.... he was a wonderful person and he me and him and a couple of other kids kept our 7th period class laughing all the time.... he was the type of kid who would do his own thing and not care about what other people said..... i can honestly say that andrew was one of the best people that i knew.... and i also want to say that if i find out who did this.... they are going to be in jail for the rest of their lives and thats a promise

iknew the 17 year old and the other guys who were stapped.they came to my work right before they left to tthe party.the guy who died was on the phone getting the addres to the party.his name is andrew this is so sad
