Hector Cervantes, a 31-year-old Latino man, was shot in a car-to-car shooting in the 6300 block of Stafford Avenue in Huntington Park at about 1 a.m. May 24th, and died about 30 minutes later at St. Francis hospital in Lynwood. Cervantes' attackers pursued him some distance, and he was struck several times by gunfire. He lost control of the wheel, and his car crashed, said Huntington Park Police Lt. Christopher Bonzer.
