My condolenses to the family. I just heard the news about our awesome friend Chris. He was admired by his peers and I personally admired him for wanting to live a happy and fulfilled life. Though he was disabled, he showed others that he can do anything he wanted to in life. He was a cheerful person that everybody loved. His smile always cheered everybody as he walked in. He was polite, sincere, well rounded individual that loved his family. I watched him excel at his job and put full effort in making sure his job was well done. I feel so so sad knowing we will not be able to see more of him, but will always remember him talking about the Lakers, his mother and his favorite greeting "what's up".
Whoever has information on this aweful crime, please assist with providing info to the police. Chris did not deserve this, he was a caring individual. My kids and i want to pay our respects to the family.

We want to reach out to see if anyone knows anything about what happen to our family member. He was a wonderful person full of life and loved everyone. He did not deserve to die. He was out in front of his house talking about the lakers and was so excited they were doing so well when gun shots were fired and Chris was hit. He was hadicapped and was loved by many people in the community, so please if anyone can help please give any information you may have to the Downey police department. Our family would be very appreciative of any help.
