Donald Demond Hoskins, 31

Donald_hoskins_31Donald Demond Hoskins, a 31-year-old black man, was mortally wounded and another man was critically injured after they were shot outside a burger stand at  953 W. Florence Ave. in South-Central L.A. about 1 a.m. Tuesday, April 8. According to police, the men were approached by one or more suspects on foot. Authorities said both men were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. Hoskins was later pronounced dead at California Hospital, according to LAPD spokeswoman Ana Aguirre. Times story

When will this senseless violence end. My prayers goes out to the family of the YOUNG man.

Again we have another tragedy happening in our city I dont know the men personally but my heart goes out to their families, I lost a love one too and it hurts like hell all of this voilence needs to stop within our communities because we all have to live here so we might as well start to learn to love each other.

What a shame all this violence going on, it is so stupid for you to kill ur own people, have u forgot u have to answer to the man above, please remember that he see everything that u do, so dont for one second think that u are getting away with murder cause ur not, how can u creeps sleep at night, killing is just for fun now, but I pray for the wicked that r lost out here in this world may they find God because he is alive, Bless all of our victims of the senseless gang warfare

My name is Justine Hoskins and I am the widow of Donald Hoskins. I just want to thank you for your prayers and concerns. He was a very kind and gentle soul who never deserved this kind of brutality. My sole consolation is that the good Lord has him now and he will never have to deal with this kind of senseless and merciless violence again.
