Larry Craig, 23
Larry Craig, a 23-year-old young black man, was fatally shot about 9 p.m. Friday March 21, in the 600 block of West 104th Street in South-Central Los Angeles. According to police, Craig had just left someone's home and was approaching Denver Avenue when two black men wearing black hooded sweatshirts walked up to him. One of the men pulled out a hangun and fired several times at Craig. The men were last seen running south on Denver Avenue, police said. Craig was taken to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:36 p.m.. No, Jerry the post is correct, it is Denver. Not Denker Denver is between Hoover Street and Figueroa. The shooting took place,very close to where he lived. Larry had inoperable Cataracts and could only see the shadows of life. He was a really sweet boy!! Larry walked everywhere! everyone on the streets knew him. I have been knowing him his whole life. His pelvis was crushed last fall after he was hit by an MTA bus, and he had to wear a colas tope bag . Larry always was cheerful, and had a joke to tell you., Again he would never hurt anyone, why someone would hurt him is beyond my wildest Dreams. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
This was just another one of those Sensless Killings.
