Danny Chan, 18
Danny Chan, 18, a young Asian man, is the second victim of a shootout on March 22 in Rosemead. Chan was involved in a car-to-car shooting at Park Street and Charlotte Avenue with Jimmy Tran, also 18. Tran was shot in the head and died later that night. Chan was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Monday, March 24 at 8:12 p.m. News of Chan's death was not previously released by authorities, but the county coroner listed him as a homicide victim this week.

i emailed on the death of tran and sadden to hear of this second tragedy. our city has now become a killing field and we as citzens need to began to pay attention to what's going on here it's sad to say but a true fact is that we don't know what day if not today is our own day of death. it's so fearful not knowing if i'm next is one of my family members are next. i'm so lost for words for our communities being surrounded on a daily bases of senseless deaths. i pray for your family for strength
