Pablo Sambolin Ortiz, 32
Pablo Sambolin Ortiz, a 32-year-old Latino man, was mortally wounded when he was shot in the 1600 block of East Anaheim Street in Long Beach about 3:45 a.m. Sunday, March 16. He was in critical condition at St. Mary's Medical Center until Wednesday, March 19, when he was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m. According to Long Beach police, Ortiz was inside a restaurant when he and another man began arguing. Police said the man followed Ortiz when he left the restaurant and shot him multiple times. Ortiz was hit in the neck and face, according to a coroner's report.
