Jeremy Mancera, a 19-year-old Latino man, was shot at 41725 170th St. in Lake Los Angeles at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3. Detectives with the sheriff’s homicide bureau said Mancera had called friends and told them that he was being chased by three Latino men in a brown truck. Mancera was later found in the back seat of his car with gunshot wounds by friends who had gone to the location, authorities said. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he died at 5:05 p.m.
