This gang war has to stop. It has spread far beyond those that caused this particular "war". We as a community have to find a way to stop gang violence in our Community. I ask everyone involved, everyone who knows someone invloved and anybody calling shots to call a truce for Superbowl weekend.

In addition to increasing patrols and throwing more peopel from the task force at the problem, law enforcement should attempt to negoiate peace between the requisite leaders.

Every victim has a family and friends. Not all victims are on the coroner's table or recieving help from a hospital. The vast majority of victims are trying to find away to survive in this community when danger is having the wrong zip code.

i constantly remind young blacks and browns that the prisons going up all over the country are being built for them; the guns being sold within their neighborhoods were meant to be used by them, on them (the crime statistics are no accident, as it is the same within every city … coincidence? hardly); the weed, wet, blunts and alcohol being sold within their communities in buildings that could be housing after-school programs and other recreational outlets, are explicitly for catering to them, resulting in the dumb down syndrome and that, coupled with the big 4 music companies producing static mindsets (also, not by chance), while also producing the most violent movies in the history of the big screen (their thirst for blood is quenched by your untimely deaths) lead to the erroneous belief that killing and being killed is where it’s at!
i suggest parents get a clue and tell their children the truth about this life because the growing numbers of dead are evident that there is a target on their life. so please keep your children out of the line of fire by your own actions. educate them against societal
if our youth haven't realized any of this yet, please ... WAKE UP and don't allow yourself to be used as a pawn!!!!
