Kristina Davis, 24

Kristina Davis, a 24-year-old white woman, was discovered dead by the side of the road in the 4700 block of La Tuna Canyon Road in Sun Valley at about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9. A group of people returning from a night of partying came upon her body, shot in the head, said Det. Patrick Barron of the Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Station. The location, approximately a mile from the Foothill Freeway, appeared to have been the scene of the crime, police said.
