Russell Randall, a 38-year-old black man, was shot and killed at 1116 West 64th St. in South L.A. at about 9:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20. Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division responded to an open window at a home and found Russell dead from a gunshot wound to the head, said Officer Michael Lopez with the department’s media relations office.
