Ricardo Merino, a 6-year-old Latino boy, died from physical trauma at County-USC hospital at about 5 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, said Lt. Fred Coral of the L.A. County coroner's office. There are no further details.

This makes me sick to my stomach! I cannot understand how you dare to do such act! I understand that our children can be a pain at times and as a parent we discipline formally! Not Physically!
A message to the senseless coward who committed this crime! And to those who hurt people, especially children!
I know I'm not one to judge but sure hope you live long to suffer! You don't deserve to die and rest your piece!

A helpless victim. Why was this child not being loved and protected? Ladies, if you don't want to be a mother please give your child to somebody that will love and protect them.

This is a tragedy, for there is nothing this child could have done to deserve this manner of death. I pray to God the authorities will bring the culpable parties to justice, and may justice be severe and swift. No one should get away with killing a child.
It breaks my heart to think of what this baby endured and brings me little consolation to know he is now in heaven. May God hold him near his heart. Amen.

A six year old dies of physical trauma, I want to know by who and why? What kind of beast would hurt a child that violently?
