Nelly Vergara, 20

December 20, 2007 |  1:07 pm

Nelly Vergara, 20, a Latina young woman, was shot in the upper chest and killed at about 11:20 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at 2486 W. Venice Blvd in the Harvard Heights area west of downtown Los Angeles and north of the 10 Freeway. She was the victim, police said, of a drive-by shooting. She died minutes after, at 11:32 a.m. Dec. 10.

She was waiting at a bus stop with her boyfriend and another young man. The attackers drove up and shot out of the car at them in a rare drive-by shooting (most Los Angeles street shootings nowadays are walk-ups). Two Latino men and two Latino youths were later taken into custody and charged. Their apprehension was aided by a global-positioning system bracelet worn by one of the offenders.

Theres hardly drive bys because the EME decided that it was bad for business back in the 1990s. If the streets are full of cops then theres no drug sales or other criminal activities that they profit from going on. Those fools arrested for this drive by are going to get shanked in jail for pissing off the EME. Sucks to b u!

yeah they should have know that you never do dry byes just to let the family and friends of the victim dont worry they are going to get theirs evry body knows you get a green light for doing a dry bye especially when someone dies so they are going to get theirs evry day and maibe killed so the probably would go p.c protective custody but they will suffer evry day they are in jail especially in prison like blue said its going to be suck to be them ha ha ha
