Urban violence is taking a serious toll on the attitudes of our people. The flagrant disregard of human life has proliferated throughout our neighborhoods.
We, as adults, must take action soon to try and stem the violence that has plagued us. The legacy we leave our children is very important and the idea of respect for ourselves and others must be established NOW.

Ruff Ground’s debut CD “Another Flatline” raise the social issue of gangs that are manipulating our communities through fear and violent acts, inflicting pain and grief on the young and old alike. With classic sounds and captivating rhythms we create music addressing urban issues that could be a useful gang prevention tool in promoting programs, community safety and awareness.
