Dion Holloway, 17, a black youth, was shot at 1731 Belmont Ave. in Pasadena at about 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, and died at the scene. Officers responding to a ‘shots-fired’ call found him dead in the street with multiple wounds, said Lt. Keith Jones of the Pasadena Police Department.

He was walking on the sidewalk when his attackers pulled up in a dark SUV; a man or youth got out and started shooting, said Pasadena Lt. John Dewar. The victim tried to run, but was struck as he fled and fell to the ground. The assailant then shot him again, execution-style.
