Zamar McKnight, 26

Zamar McKnight, 26, a black man, was shot just after 1 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, in an alley at 1301 S. Acacia Ave. in Compton, and was taken to UCLA-Harbor hospital, where he lingered two days before dying at about 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2.

M heart goes out to you and your family. I know how it feels when your chld is murdered. There is no pain like it in the world. On November 9, 1995, my 19 year old son was gunned down inside of the car by the so called friends he was riding with. Although, it's been almost 12 years, I still hurt every second of every second of my life but because I know the Power of God, I live on. He was liked by everyone and had a good sense of humor. Your family will be in my prayers along with everyone else who has lost a loved one too soon to a senseless crime.
