Roger McDowell, 17, a black youth, was shot and killed in the 2000 block of S. Wadley Avenue near Helmick Street in Carson, and died at the scene at 9:11 p.m. Sept. 2. It was a drive-by shooting.
Roger was seen running: He was being chased by someone, another black youth. On Helmick Street, his pursuer started to shoot.

Roger Mcdowell was my brother it was awfull what happened to him cause he would of went to the pro.RIP bro i luv u
