Morris Moran, 27, a Latino man, was shot while walking with his wife to his parked car near the intersection of Manhattan Place and Wilshire Boulevard off Western Avenue at about 10:15 p.m. Sept. 8.
Two Latino men came up behind him on Wilshire, said LAPD Wilshire Division Det. John Shafia. They shot him and ran. He stumbled around the corner on Manhattan before falling. His wife was unharmed. Moran, who was from Canoga Park, was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Koreatown is populated by Latinos(Mexicans,SALVADORENOS,Guatamalans,Hondurans,Belizian ect.) The LAPD (G-Unit) knows the in's & outs of K-town! $$$

Morris didnt have a wife. . just a baby girl that he loved very much and a psycho girlfriend . .not sure where this information came from . .his family would appreciate any help in bringing justice to this situation. .If you have any information, you can call the LAPD at 1-877-529-3855.

After much self-conflict regarding the matter, i have decided to keep my word and apologize for / modify my previous statement. Apparently the "psycho girlfriend" is only MY OPINION, and although i am entitled to it i may have hurt feelings and i do not want to brainwash anyone into believing "my crazy opinion". i am a mother of an almost two year old little girl who lost her daddy, and lets just mention that although it may not be known, let it be known that i am just as sad,distraught, and hurt for both myself and my little girl and i want answers just as much as everyone else. Sorry if ive offended anyone, that was not my intention. But i will not retract the statement that "Morris did not have a wife" as that statement remains true for eternity.

Morris was a happy man that left behind a Handsome 11 yr old boy , that looks exactly like him, and a wonderful girlfriend whom he shared 11 yrs of his wonderful life with. He also left a beautiful little girl. His murder was NOT gang related. He was just an innocent man that happen to be the victim of 2 selfish men that are out loose......We his family are asking if you have any information about his murder please contact the LAPD 1-877-529-3855.

Morris was a good hearted person who never wished any harm on anyone. Some of us tend to lose contact with each other because of school, work or we just don't realize how we lose each other over time. i wished i would've spent a lot more time with him and other people who i have very fond memories of before he was taken from us. We will all miss you, be-beto...may your soul rest in peace, no more worries for you!

It's almost 2 years that you have been gone. I can not believe it, I remember our conversation that very same day. Our love affair always got us in trouble,lol... You always made my day. She is almost three and only saw you a couple of times, but our secret will always be in our hearts and no one will take that from us. Miss you.
