Michael Bell, 47, a black man, was discovered stabbed to death at 601 S. San Pedro in downtown Los Angeles' Skid Row area at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
A passerby saw his body lying on the ground. LAPD Lt. Paul Vernon said that Bell's body was found just north of the single-occupancy hotel where he lived. Police believe he had been stabbed at least 30 minutes before, but people who saw him at first believed he was just asleep on the sidewalk, and so a 911 call was delayed.

Does anyone know if this is Michael Anthony Bell of Los Angeles? Was he dark skinned about 5'11" maybe 175 lbs? Anyone with more information please post. Thanks. I am a concerned friend.

IS THIS PARK OF THE BELL FAMILY FROM SAN PEDRO AND EL SEGUNDO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SO THIS IS REAL SAD BUT IF NOT IT'S STILL A SAD THING FOR THIS FAMILY TO GO THROUGH

THIS IS SICK WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH HIS BROTHER SANDY BELL. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SO MUCH KILLING WHY?
