Jean Hyde, 57

Jean Hyde, 57, a Latina woman, was injured by blunt force trauma in a house at 1170 Cometa Street in Pacoima at 5:56 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, and was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, where she died. Police got an assault call and found her lying in front. A suspect ran from the scene into a neighboring house but was later arrested. The man was an intimate, authorities said; the homicide was classified as domestic.
