September 10, 2007 |  2:11 pm

Eduardo Perez, a 16-year-old Latino youth, was shot and killed at 45303 Rodin Ave. in Lancaster at 2:41 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10. He was standing in the street. Neighbors heard shots, and looked out and saw his body lying there, said Lt. Dave Smith of sheriff's homicide bureau. Some black youths were seen running in the area, but it is not clear whether they had anything to do with the crime.

i want to say that what is said here is not all true. eduardo was my cousin. and he was really shot on 09-09-07. he then lost his life in the av hospital at 2:41.am. eduardo was indeed shot by a black youth. and his body was not layng in the street as ran to ask for help at friends house. i think that the murder is still free and that the sherifs really need to find his killer. eduardo did not carry any wepons and was shot for no reason. ive lost someone i loved with all my heart and theirs still no answers.
