Connie Williams, 15
Connie Williams, 15, a black teenage girl, was shot in the head at the intersection of 45th Street and San Pedro Street in LAPD's Newton Division, east of the 110 Freeway and south of downtown Los Angeles, early in the morning, Aug. 17.
The young runaway was standing with some young men--the possible targets of the drive-by shooters--and was the only one of the group to be hit, said Det. Dennis Fanning of LAPD Newton station. Her companions sought help, and with friends, they drove her to Kaiser hospital in West Los Angeles, where she died. Her family, who are of Belizean extraction, agreed to donate her organs, Fanning said. She was pronounced dead at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18.
The case is partially cleared: One suspect, 18-year-old Charles Nicholson, a black young man, is in custody.

Well i knew Conny from dangriga Town in the country of Belize. The Conny that i knew, was a very pretty young lady. She was something like a little thug in the making, but she was fun to hang around. From what i saw, she had her sweet side, bu twhat was most outstanding was the need to be a bad girl. But it was nontheless surprising to hear about the way she passed. The news of her passing spread through Dangriga like wild fire. And everyone thought that it was just another rumor.
the last thing that i remembered about Conny was her graduation party that she had before she departed for the states

My heart goes out to this young lady's family along with the families of all the victims, it's ashame that people are reduced to living like this, i urge all families if you can leave L.A don't let your child be next, this is utterly ridiculous, the national guard should come in and patrol these streets and get these no soul having thugs off the streets., Is there a picture of this young lady available? if so please post, i believe she was a student at a middle school in los angeles where i use to work. we are losing too many, rappers, actors, activist, minister's i call for you to come forward and step out into the streets to discourage this violence you can't do it from behind your closed doors, especially rappers your music lyrics keeps this type of thing fueled, wrap more positively, maybe it will help.
