Jesus Valencia, 21

Jesus Valencia, 20, a Latino young man, was shot and killed at 500 W. 18th St. in LAPD's Harbor Division on Sunday, July 22, at about 2 a.m. Police said a dark truck pulled alongside him, a man and woman, both Latinos, got out, and the man shot him. The pair then got back in the car and escaped down an alley. Valencia was taken to a hospital, where he died at about 2:31 a.m.
