Lana, in your post you mentioned that your son is currently being harrassed by gang members... at this point it is time to leave (LA). No one wants this to happen to anyone, but I do agree that at the point you know the possibility does exist for your son/daughter to be in danger, you have to take that knowledge and do something. It is called personal responsibility. I know it seems that life is hard and it is hard to pick up and go somewhere you know nothing about, but their are places in America you can go where gangs are not the norm. I wish gang-bangers read--- if they truly realized how stupid they were I believe they would stop. Gang bangers are a disgrace to their mothers and fathers.

I never knew this young man but my heart goes out to his family.
This story has really touched my heart and I pray for the day that God helps us put and end to Gang anf Youth Violence.
