Lavonne Mandivelle

Note: The Homicide Report occasionally highlights comments that come in about killings. The Mandivelle siblings were former foster children who made their way out of the system together by bootstraps and determination--helping each other, and both working. Eric Mandivelle worked at McDonald's, and survived on his wages. He was murdered April 22 in Long Beach. Some readers have sought information on Lavonne, seen here leaning down to kiss her brother at his funeral.  Below, Lavonne provides her e-mail address and phone number, and talks about how she is doing--not so good, she says.

Hello Lavonne, I hope that you are doing better these day's and things are going good, i left you an e-mail last month to help you with the lose of your faith. please keep your faith. i dont know if your brother's murder have been solved of not, but i will tell you this as i tell everybody on this page, i lost my nephew a long time ago ninteen years. find away to keep your brothers case open, and keep the police working on it. make them do there job, call everyday see what they have found. you will be okay.

I live in the Washington, DC area, and I would like to say that things here are not very much better, but we have a new Mayor, a new Police Chief, and a new Chairman of Education. Please vote, please be vocal, be supportive, protest and get the attention of every official. Something needs to be done there. We have bans on assault rifles, machine guns, and it is against the law for a DC resident to have a firearm in their home. There needs to be tougher laws in your county. Don't get discouraged, be proactive in your spare time. Trust me the fight in DC is not over, but it's getting easier. Every week we see Drug Bust and Drug Stings where violent and notorious criminals are taken off the streets. Don't Give Up, east to west coast, we are all in this together. God Bless!!!!

high sister my name is ty if i can help you any way i can give me a call at 310-6950004.
