Dwayne Smith, 31
Dwayne Smith, 31, a black man, was shot in the head and neck repeatedly at the intersection of 85th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard in Inglewood and died at 9:15 p.m. Monday, April 2.
According to Inglewood police, Smith was driving in a car with a woman. Assailants in a gray car pulled up alongside the pair, exchanged words with them, then shot them. The victims drove themselves to a hospital. Smith died; the woman survived. Anyone with any information is asked to call detectives at (310) 412-5246. Dwayne was my friend from Inglewood. He was a funny person who loved to crack jokes. He was a man that loved his kids and would do anything in the world for them. Dwayne loved to hang out in the hair shops in Inglewood and make people laugh. You will truly be missed "Spyder"

Dewayne was long time friend of mine and has been missed since this tragic event happened I pray he rest eternally in peace with God.

I remember Dwayne from LaTijera. He was a nice guy and will always be remembered by his big, bright smile. RIP
