Sovannak Pov, 21, and Satiyason Sokun, 24

Sovannak Pov, 21, and Satiyason Sokun, 24, both men of Cambodian descent, were killed by gunfire at 6439 Downey Ave. in Long Beach Jan. 21 just before 1 a.m.

The victims were outside at a party when the suspects drove by and fired at them. The two men died shortly after. Less than a week later, Long Beach police arrested a suspect — Ratanak David Kim —an acquaintance of the victims. Ratanak is suspected of killing them after an argument, possibly over women or money. Dets. Daniel Mendoza and Robert Gonzalez are seeking help from the public for further investigation. (572) 570-7244.
