The Deal: Living Room store parking lot sale

Living room

Everything in the Silver Lake store Living Room will be marked down 20% to 50% during what owner Steve Melendrez is calling, with tongue in cheek, his Staying in Business sale this weekend.

The discounts apply to everything: sustainable furniture, custom orders, vintage products, lighting and accessories. Most pieces are made locally, by hand. The Slope Arm chair, above, regularly $1,445, will be reduced to $995.

The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 3531 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles; (323) 665-5070.

Readers outside of Southern California, rest assured: Melendrez says anything that's on his website and in stock will be discounted for online shoppers as well.
