Still looking for holiday presents and stocking stuffers that don’t cost a fortune? Our home and garden gift guide is loaded with them. Here are 10 for under $25, starting with reusable LunchSkins sandwich and snack bags in vibrant designs that remind us of Marimekko. We saw these pieces ($8.99 to $9.99 each) at the Green Life in Santa Monica. You also can find dozens of sizes, patterns and colors ($7.85 to $10.95) on the LunchSkins website.

For the brown thumb, may we suggest an air-plant kit from the Juicy Leaf? The kit, above left, comes with glass container, rocks and an air plant, which requires no soil and only an occasional soak in water. Price: $24.95 apiece; order three and save $15. Other glass shapes are available at other prices.

Also on target: The Pierce cocktail picks, above right. They’re from Toronto-based Imm Living, maker of clever porcelain accessories. We bought our set of four for $22 at Firefly in Venice. Keep reading for seven more inexpensive gift picks ...

French cheese knives start at only $15 at Maude Woods. Add a simple white Crate & Barrel plate and you’ve got an inexpensive, universal gift that has some personality. (And if you really like the person, spring for the cheese.)
Shopping for someone who’s more martini than Bordeaux? How about printed coasters based on vintage matchbook designs and midcentury advertising illustrations, $5 each at Bar Keeper.

If the classic platters and bowls of Heath Ceramics are too pricey for your budget, there’s still much to discover on the site. Design-minded foodies can deploy the steel-clamped, rubber-ringed Weck glass jars ($2.75 and up) as gifts loaded with homemade treats. We bought the ones here for $4 apiece and filled them with macaroons.

For a budget-minded garden accent: These 3.75-inch biodegradable bamboo starter pots are just $1.50 each. Pretty enough to use as a pencil cup. We found them at Kellygreen.

Some of us here at L.A. at Home remain baffled by how much candle connoisseurs are willing to shell out for wax and a wick. Oh, the price we apparently are willing to pay for flattering low light and scents that camouflage the aroma of a city. Here’s one tactic if you’re giving candles as a gift: novelty matches. We picked up these Swedish match boxes ($1.50 apiece) at OK. Maybe they won’t notice the candles are from Ikea.

These dinner tapers are imprinted with icons: As they burn, they tell you when it’s time for cocktails, dessert and bed. They’re made by Konstantin Slawinski; we found them selling for $10 at Sleek Identity.

These wire ‘bingo’ baskets ($12.50 to $21.50) are decorated with vintage-looking wooden discs. Add a potted plant and bingo: You’ve got a winner. We found the baskets at Rolling Greens.
