'Mary McDonald Interiors': Drama leaps off the page


Los Angeles designer Mary McDonald just released a book highlighting some of her most dramatic work. "Mary McDonald Interiors: The Allure of Style" (Rizzoli) defies the publishing world's current obsession with pared-down decor books and instead delivers some over-the-top inspiration. Alexandria Abramian Mott reviews the release and narrates our photo gallery, a sampling of which you see here.
