Times Past: The Key-jector

Snapshots from the Los Angeles Times archives: West magazine, April 20, 1969

No time to distinguish between the four keys in your pocket? The Swank Key-jector would do it for you. Just  press a button -- one for each key -- and out would pop the key you needed. Convenient, the ad says.  And easy once you remembered which color went with which key. But maybe not easy enough. Four decades later, they're available -- on EBay.

I think this article alone is what caused the 78 page views that the Key-Jector ebay auction has. Its pretty interesting nonetheless.
