The Deal: All things Blu Dot on sale

I ordered a medium-sized Blu Dot Strut table, powder-coated a striking green, only to realize later that it was too small. I loved the piece so much, though, I couldn’t part with it and decided to use it as a desk instead of a dining table.
Now that the modern design firm is discounting all of its furniture by 20% through Nov. 8, I am eyeing those larger tables with interest: The 74.5-inch-long large Strut, regularly $1,099, is now $879.20; the 56-inch-long medium table, regularly $699, is now $559.20. The square Strut coffee table shown above, regularly $449, is now $359.20.
A 20% reduction may not sound huge, but it applies to all Blu Dot designs: beds, chairs, desks, lighting, ottomans and sofas such as the Paramount sectional pictured above, regularly $3,199; now $2,559.20.
Accessories are on sale too, including coat racks and pillows. In the photo at right, the Modu-licious No. 1 side table is marked down from $529 to $423.20. The upholstered Knicker chair, regularly $279, is now $223.20. (The thrift store paintings are priceless.)
