The Deal: Potted starts end-of-summer sale

Potted2

The Atwater Village garden shop Potted began discounting all merchandise by at least 20% this morning in an effort to make room for new fall decor.

The inventory is wide-ranging: vintage furniture, fountains, fire pits. The Fermob bistro table above, normally $229, is now $183.20; matching chairs, regularly $110 apiece, are $88. Everything down to the last 2-inch succulent will be reduced by 20%. That includes Woolly Pockets, the modular plant containers and the Luminaria moss-covered planters shown at right.

Potted According to co-owner Mary Gray, some furnishings will be discounted by as much as 75%. Those sale pieces include garden benches, statues, gnomes, folk art concrete pieces and some larger urns.

"This is stuff we have never brought out or have discontinued," says Gray. "We are just clearing out our inventory. There is going to be a lot of stuff on sale."

The sale runs through Sept. 19 at 3158 Los Feliz Blvd. For online savings of 20%, use coupon code “gnome” at checkout. (323) 665-3801.
