We receive a lot of queries from readers interested in specific furnishings they see, love and must have in our weekly Home profiles. But nothing comes close to the amount of mail we received regarding the Ligne Roset Togo couch, shown above, that was featured in my profile on the Atwater home of architect Rebecca Rudolph.

The article focused on low-cost design alternatives, so nearly all of these couch-loving readers who contacted me were gravely disappointed to learn that the three-piece sectional would cost around $9,000. Ouch!

So I wanted to offer this update: Now through September, Ligne Roset is discounting the Togo collection by 25% in honor of their 150th anniversary. Designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1973, the sofa’s padded silhouette is available in 74 solids and 27 textured (dot patterns, seal-skin pattern or stripes) Alcantara fabrics. The discount applies to all items in the collection, including sofas, love seats, armchairs, corner seats and ottomans.

Linea, 8843-49 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles; (310) 273-5425. Sale continues through September.
