The Deal: Up to 80% off samples and returns at Design Public Outlet

In the past, Design Public has hosted cash-and-carry sample sales at their San Francisco warehouse that have made me want to jump in my car and drive north. But now, the modern furnishings retailer is making their sales more accessible to all by offering greatly reduced samples and returns -- between 40% and 80% off -- at their online outlet.

Items are added daily and are sold as-is. As of Tuesday morning, 149 items were listed on the website including, from left, Artecnica's paper Midsummer Light in lilac (reduced from $44 to $26.40), Wallter's powder-coated steel slat rack in white (normally $145, now $87) and the great adaptable Offi molded plywood mag table in birch -- it can be flipped over to be used as a computer table -- (reduced from $179 to $107.40). All of the items shown above are in good condition and are listed as “opened box.” Click here to sign up for alerts.
