The Deal: Asian furniture and ceramics on sale at Rolling Greens new store

The garden and home decor store Rolling Greens is marking down a large group of Chinese antiques and ceramics at its new location on Beverly Boulevard. The sale merchandise is half off through April 12.

Among the home furnishings are cabinets with carved and, as shown above, painted details that will be sold from $200 to $500. Many are wardrobe chests with 20- to 30-inch shelves -- ideal for media centers.

Ginger jars in traditional blue and white with koi and floral motifs are part of a wide offering of ceramics and raku. For those who crave something a little different, there are stoneware vases with red and white floral decoration starting at $20.

The sale also includes decorative pieces such as porcelain figurines, right, reduced from $35 to a very reasonable $17.50.
