Long before wall decals became a ubiquitous design trend, there was Blik.

The Venice-based manufacturer was among the first to produce easily removable self-adhesive surface graphics, including designs ranging from midcentury modern shapes by Charles and Ray Eames to whimsical Boodalee decals for kids.

Now, Blik will discount their overstock and discontinued wall graphics by 50% to 75% at a sample sale Friday and Saturday. And the decals aren’t just for walls -- they can be secured to any smooth, flat surface, such as a window, mirror, ceiling, tabletop or floor. To see how -- with a spatula no less -- check out the video posted below.

The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days at the Venice store, shown above, at 1733 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Suite B. Online sales are excluded. Cash and credit cards only. No refunds or exchanges and all sales are final. For more information, call (866) 262-2545.
