The Deal: One Kings Lane's discounted designer decor

March 6, 2010 |  6:00 am

Uh-oh. Another online discount shopping club has come to my attention. Offering a daily menu of you-snooze-you-lose 72-hour sales, One Kings Lane says it marks down brand-name home decor and new design discoveries up to 70%. Merchandise includes furniture, artwork, rugs, bedding, home fragrances and kitchen and bath accessories. New sales are launched at 8 a.m. weekdays.

On sale through 8 a.m. Monday: The Apollo round table, above left, is a lacquered side table nearly 16 inches in diameter made by the 70-year-old Italian firm Bussolari. It regularly sells for $595 but has been reduced to $269. One Kings Lane also has a large selection of Bussolari's ornate gold- and silver-leaf frames marked down to prices ranging from $49 to $109.

The Washer pillow, above right, is a 16-inch embroidered silk square by the Los Angeles-based bedding company Jiti. Originally $100, it's now $39. The sale also includes 20-inch pillows reduced from $125 to $49.

One Kings Lane is offering a $10 credit on purchases through March 31 for new members who join by March 15. Register for it here.
