The Deal: Antwerp Chair nearly half off <br> at Anthropologie

Anthropologie’s Antwerp chair with ‘bloom’ fabric, shown at right, illustrates why men are loath to step foot inside the bohemian store: It’s curvy. It’s pretty. It reeks of femininity.
And girls? Don’t tell the guys, but it’s also on sale. (I found a surprising number of covetous blog posts devoted to this chair and its many previous upholstery incarnations.)

Normally $1,498, the Antwerp Chair with this fabric is currently on sale for $799.95. A version with Spectrum Swirl fabric is now $1,300, marked down about $400. The chairs feature eight-way hand-tied seat construction, kiln-dried hardwood frame and measure 36 1/2 inches high, 30 inches wide and 31 inches deep.

We should note that the Antwerp chair is available exclusively online and not in brick-and-mortar stores. Shipping and handling is $150.
