Main Street shops in Santa Monica will stay open late Friday to inaugurate a monthly event: Last Fridays. Discounts will be served up with snacks and cocktails at select stores. Here’s the scoop on four home-oriented spots:

Weego Home, the destination pictured above for contemporary furniture, lighting, bedding, rugs and more, is offering a 15% discount on all purchases made from 7 to 9:30 p.m. It’s at 2939 Main St. (between Ashland and Pier avenues); (800) 659-3346.

The Green Life carries eco-friendly linens, decorative pillows, candles, cleaning supplies and other products. It will offer a Last Friday discount to be announced via e-mail, Twitter and Facebook. This month’s special (squealed early): 20% off organic cotton towels including the Coyuchi collection shown at right. The store is at 2409 Main St. (near Hollister Avenue); (310) 392-4702.

Agabhumi the Best of Bali carries unique Indonesian decorative accessories including hand-painted fruit baskets, platters and containers woven from ata, a creeping vine found in Bali. Stop by for specialty cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and bring a pair of gently worn shoes to donate to Soles4Souls for 20% off any single item. Through Sunday, 20% of all sales will be donated toward Haitian disaster relief. Agabhumi is at 2665 Main St. (near Hill Street); (310) 396-2422.

Clever offers the pretty and the practical. Beyond the girly garden tools and gloves are bestsellers that might make even some guys sigh: teapots resembling ducks, pandas or giraffes. For Last Friday, Clever will have a keg party and donate 20% of all sales to UNICEF’s Haiti relief fund, and all Radka Designs jewelry will be 20% off. The store is at 2823 Main St. (at Ashland Avenue); (310) 396-8108.
