When I went searching for the striking hanging terrarium kit I saw in Sunset magazine, I was disappointed to find them all sold out at Flora Grubb Gardens’ new online store. At just $25, they are the San Francisco nursery’s biggest seller online.
So to appease likeminded folk, Flora Grubb is releasing the new Wall Bubble Terrarium with Succulent, Planting Kit before Christmas for $33. This cute little half-globe terrarium, just 6-inches in diameter, comes with pumice and a plant that, theoretically, can’t be killed. (We’ll see. I’ve heard that before.)

Hang the flat-backed bubble on a nail or tack and enjoy. Put up a pair for more drama. More information at (415) 626-7256.
