The Deal: 30% off almost everything at SMMoA's Gracie shop

Gracie sale

Museum gift shops are great gift-hunting grounds, and Gracie, the Santa Monica Museum of Art’s cool retail store, is no exception. Today offers an even more powerful shopping incentive: 30% off almost everything at the store.

Among the many inexpensive items included in the holiday sale are, clockwise from top, a brightly striped dustpan-and-broom set from Alice Supply Co., (formerly $32, now $23); a witty Electro Man Cable surge protector (normally $25, now $17.50); colorful grandma-hip doilies (regularly $25, now $17.50); and a set of four melamine plates by Martin Yeeles, featuring images of roadside signs (normally $36, now $25.50).

Discounts apply to in-store purchases only and exclude artwork by Robbie Conal and Lynn Hanson.

The Santa Monica Museum of Art is located at Bergamot Station, 2525 Michigan Ave., Santa Monica. (310) 586-6488. The sale runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Tuesday and Wednesday.
