Redfining small-space living are Zaarath and Christopher Prokop, the proud owners of the smallest apartment in Manhattan, according to this fascinating story by the New York Post. The Prokop’s home is a mere 175-square-foot ‘micro-studio’ 14.9 feet long and 10 feet wide. It’s located on the 16th floor of a doorman building on 110th Street in Morningside Heights.

While we generally applaud people who find creative ways to make do with less, the strategies the Prokops have developed to live contentedly in such a space seem, well....extreme. They keep their workout clothing in the kitchen, always eat out, and jog to work, stopping by various dry cleaners to pick up their work clothes for the day.
