Following the publication of my story on architect Rebecca Rudolph’s Atwater home, I received several e-mails from readers who wanted to know where they could find her living room sofa, shown above.

So many e-mails, in fact, that I wanted to offer this update: Rudolph’s sofa was designed by Michel Ducaroy for the French furniture manufacturer Ligne Roset in 1973. The Ligne Roset Togo Sofa is available in a wide variety of fabrics and colors and is made from multiple-density foam, which means it will hold its shape for years to come.

Rudolph says the microfiber fabric she chose is very kid-friendly and wipes clean after every spill. Available at Linea on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, the bestselling piece comes as a sofa, loveseat and cornerseat. You may be able to find a few odd pieces at their current Santa Monica warehouse sale (featuring discounts up to 30% on floor samples), but normally, a three-piece set like this would start at about $9,000. So keep your eyes open for Linea sales, which occur twice a year.
