Ask L.A.’s top designers where they score their unique decorative items and you’ll hear it over and over again: Wertz Brothers Antique Mart in Santa Monica. The 20,000-square-foot antique mall features nearly 200 dealers, 108 booths and 206 display cases selling everything from chandeliers to mid-century modern furniture, diamond rings to prison art. ‘Things are going well for us,’ says manger Robin Messick. ‘We’re seeing a lot of people who are willing to shop secondhand goods. The recession has tipped them this direction.’

The Wertz Brothers Fall Sale will tip them even further: look for discounts ranging between 10% and 50% , beginning Saturday and continuing through Oct. 12.
