CB2 is like the antithesis of Shabby Chic: lots of color, lots of bold graphics. If you haven’t shopped the new store, known as the less expensive, funkier sibling of Crate & Barrel, then today is a good day. Several items will be reduced as much as 50%.

Among the buys that won’t break the bank: Kaktus/Mojave bed linens from the Finnish textile studio Marimekko, top right (regularly $29.95 to $109, now $19.95 to $99.95); and Keidas sheet sets, bottom right (normally $29.95 to $109, now $11.95 to $49.95). A CB2 representative said the store won’t be carrying the Marimekko designs anymore, which is a shame. The store stocks much edgier prints than what you find at Crate & Barrel.

Other delightful deals: the Andy Warhol melamine square plates, top left, in green, yellow and red poppies (originally $3.95, now $2.50) and abstract daisy pillows, shown here in black but also available in yellow (both reduced from $24.95 to $14.95).

CB2’s first local store opened in May in West Hollywood.
