Lesley Anton's Handmade for the Home ceramics
Lesley Anton, known for her handmade ceramic lamps sold through high-end showrooms, including Thomas Lavin in the Pacific Design Center, is launching her studio store this Saturday. The designer will throw a bash from 6 to 9 p.m. at 5613 San Vicente Blvd. to celebrate her new line, Handmade for the Home.
The collection includes hand-thrown dinnerware with subtle textural accents, glazed in soft greens and blues and a vibrant pomegranate. Prices start at $16 for a salt dish. Plates and bowls run from $28 to $32; serving bowls are $125 and up. The work of mixed-media artist Rene Norman will be on display, and drinks and eats will be served.
