The Deal: Artemide Italian lighting at a discount

ArtemideCollage

Two of the bestselling collections by high-end Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide are on sale through the end of the month, making them a little lighter on your wallet.

The Logico line, above left and right, is made of hand-blown glass with a satin finish. It looks fluid, almost like drapery. Ceiling-mounted lights can be hung solo, in a row or clustered as a group. Floor and table styles have a die-cast aluminum base finished in pale gray lacquer. You'll need to call or visit a showroom for pricing on specific models, but we can offer a few examples: The micro-suspension model with a single 7-by-7.5-inch fixture is now $366, down from $440. A version with three mini Logico lights nested together is $1,049, down from $1,260.

The Tolomeo collection consists of adjustable task lamps in polished, die-cast aluminum, some styles in white or black. The classic table light, pictured in the middle, has two arms that extend to 50 inches. It's $307, down from $370.

Artemide showrooms are located at 9006 Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles, (310) 888-4099, or 301 4th Ave. in San Diego, (619) 232-6072. Shop online at www.artemidestore.com.
